Hollow Fiber membrane are tiny hollow tubes that look like straws. These tubes have a porous membrane wall and works through size exclusion. Clean water is allowed to go through the membrane while larger contaminants cannot fit through the pores. Hollow Fiber blocks bacteria, E. Coli, Cholera, Typhoid, protozoa, Cryptosporidium, and parasites (Giardia). Our Hollow Fiber membrane filters down to 0.1 microns.

Impressive...
I haven't used it yet; but it's specifications and it's modular design is impressive. It's adaptable to several different methods of filtering with an array of optional add-ons to facilitate to your preferred method. Used solo, it's an equivalent to Sawyer or Versa flow; but can be combined with two other optional filters to provide chemical, and virus protection also. I watched a video of someone testing the whole product line-up when it was originally a KickStart offer. I'm glad that they were successful at bringing these to the market!
