The VersaFlow with Activated Carbon Filter is a...
I first saw the VersaFlow with Activated Carbon Filter being used by Zachery Fowler on one of his survival challenge Videos. I was so intreaged by it that I had to have one. But everyone was sold out. About a month later they were back in stock and I ordered two of them. They are perfect in my opinion! 10 Liters is about the most water weight you want to carry. I like how it hangs by the handle off the ground on a tree stub or however you want to hang it. Then you can get the filtered water below it in a cup, boiling pot, or whatever. It does an excellent job filtering the water. I love it and recommend it for survival situations or camping by a stream even.

Clogged easily. Seems like it only works with water that has little to no sediment. Worked well when water was sediment free. Could see river or rain use but not much else.

Covid19 has limited my ability to get into the field with the Versaflow and filter. I have had an opportunity to run a few tests and examine both pieces. The products appeared to be well made, fit nicely with no leaks and look like they'll hold up well to the rigors of the trail. Performance also was very good and was consistent across all tests. I am very happy with the purchase
