It's easy to drink from, with no impeding the flow at all. It takes a while to fill though because you have to wait for it to filter down.

Convenience
I was fortunate enough to receive one of the pre production filters and I have been using it since July of last year. I have to say not only did it fit my Hydroflask perfectly it is ideal for everyday and traveling. How convenient it is to just go to any tap water faucet and remove the top lid and put the bottle under the faucet and fill through the water inlet side of the filter. After about 20 seconds my 32 ounce Hydroflask was filled with chlorine free water and ready to go. The great thing is traveling by air. There was a special on the news about the dirtiest water you can drink is airline water. I don't ever have to drink that water again. All I do is empty the bottle before I go through security and fill it from a faucet on the other side. Then board my flight with perfectly clean water. What a great product for every day use.
