The pressurized Jerry Can was created to provide high quality water quickly and efficiently. It's internal filtration system along with a hand pump make it easy to filter large amounts of water while camping, traveling, or in the case of emergencies.

The Pressurized Jerry Can Water Filter is lightweight, which allows for easy carry for filling from almost any water source. With a two stage filter system, water taste and clarity are enhanced, while removing harmful bacteria, chemicals, metals, sediments, viruses, and other contaminates.

Built to exceed the standards of the EPA, the filter system boasts an activated carbon filter and two hollow fiber ultra-filtration membrane filters. Activated carbon removes heavy metals, such as iron and lead, chemicals, pesticides, and removes the dirty taste of water. The hollow fiber filters works through size exclusion. Dozens of tubes have microscopic holes which allow clean water to pass through while creating a barrier to 99.999% of deadly bacteria, Giardia, E. coli, protozoan cysts, Cryptosporidium and viruses. At any time this filter can be cleared out from any sediment or contaminants that have blocked the holes by backflushing. Simply run clean water through the outflow side of the filter. This will increase the flow rate of the filter, as well as the life of the filter.

This entire purification process is automated by pressurizing the Jerry Can with the non-electric pump. The low-resistance pumping action gives a nearly effortless experience so that a young child could pressurize the system. Pressurizing the Jerry Can pushes the unfiltered water through the innovative two stage filter system and produces better tasting, clear filtered water for cooking, drinking, or any other use.

Great design, solid pump, easy to use. Would like a stainless steel option. The shower head and hose are a bit flimsy.

    Off Grid...

I do a lot of camping, often in areas with no potable water, necessitating getting water from streams or lakes. This is Ideal for those situations. Even where potable water is available this makes things safer and the carbon filter makes the water taste great like a home filter. It also doubles as just extra drinking water when no other source is available.

Two guys used this setup for 8 days of off-grid camping, plus 2 nights in a hotel. We went through approximately 36 gallons between drinking and cooking needs. Filter performed admirably, and still flows freely. It was stored in the back of a Jeep full and pressurized, and didn't leak at all. When we got to the hotel, the water in the area had issues, so we just kept using the jerry can system. I have RO water at my house, and this filter system produced comparable tasting water, and nobody had stomach problems so it did it's job. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Haven't had a chance to try it out yet. It came with everything it was supposed to. The plastic looks sturdy, seems well constructed. Look forward to trying it out when the weather gets better.

I’m very happy with the product and it was shipped quickly. It’s going to save space as I no longer need to store extra water when truck camping. Drink, bath, wash dishes all from the same container. My only complaint is that I live in Canada and had to pay an extra $90. The taxes and duty were not bad and don’t mind paying that but the brokerage fee was $63. I think ups is ripping us off with that as I believe it’s just a simple form to fill out. This is not the companies fault. Just for you to know. That being said I would pay it again. I think it’s worth it.
