Whether your water source is a clear mountain spring or a silt filled lake, it has never been more important to remove harmful metals, chemicals, and contaminants from environmental changes along with human modernization. The use of Activated Carbon has been found to be one of the best natural compounds for filtering out those unwanted elements while also improving taste and color clarity. The Activated Carbon Filter, along with the Pressurized Jerry Can is the perfect filter to protect your family.
The Activated Carbon module is made up of mixture of activated carbon and ion-exchange microbeads. Activated carbon adsorbs chemicals and heavy metals, and improves the taste and color of the contaminated water. The ion-exchange microbeads are an organic polymer substrate. These beads are porous, providing a large surface area for removing pollution, poisonous, and heavy metal iron from the water. The ion-exchange replaces these negative ions with innocuous ions, such as sodium and potassium.
Additionally, this combination will remove unhealthy organic compounds such as chlorine, pesticides, herbicides, gasoline, and diesel. The adsorption of these various compounds improves the taste and the color of water transforming it into the perfect way to refresh yourself while camping, traveling, or in an emergency situation.

Activated Carbon...
I use it with micro- or ultrafiltration membrane filter in order to absorbe chlorine, medical species, heavy metals, etc from drink water or from natural water (there is no chlorine, of course)

Makes a big...
I can tell the difference in overall taste of my filtered water when I have an activated charcoal filter in place. For that simple reason, I always have one in place….

Does what it...
I used the filter along with the virus filter during a recent camping trip. The water after being filtered had a little rusty looking color to it, but for 3 nights and four days my son and I had water to drink. We got our water from the fresh water lake, dipped the jerry can into the water, filled it up, pressurized the jerry can and had clean, reliable water.

Haven’t been able to use it but seems very sturdy. The pump doesn’t not feel flimsy like it could snap easily

Yuck...
These activated carbon filters make the taste of your filtered water taste better. Not having the ability to scientifically test the results I must say that the taste test is positive. Any other benefits are a bonus.
